Dermitage Reduce Discoloration
Under My Eyes

dermitage reduce discoloration under my eyes

Whenever there is a product that can reduce the signs of aging (especially of the face and neck) without the painful injections or expensive surgery, we are all for it. For this reason, we keep up to date on the latest anti-aging products. You may have seen ads for The Dermitage Anti-Aging System while surfing online. There’s thousands of creams out there that claim to work, and it’s true, some of them do work. In my experiences, I’ve encountered only a few creams that worked on my skin, but like moisturizer, the skin gets bored of the product after repeated useage and renders the product ineffective. Then I am out searching for something else that will keep my skin in its best shape. Is The Dermitage Anti-Aging System a success story?

The manufacturer of The Dermitage Anti-Aging System claims that their secret is their patented Lifting Sphere (click here to find out more). The Patented Lifting Spheres penetrate the grooves in your skin, also known as wrinkles, and its delivery technique provides a gently renewing formula to increase your skin’s own natural collagen production with Glucosamine Complex (Click here to learn more about the importance of collagen).

Glucosamine is an amino sugar and is a precursor in the synthesis of glycosylated proteins and lipids. Oral glucosamine is commonly used in the treatment of osteoarthritis. Though this method of treatment is safe, there is much debate on the effectiveness of glucosamine for osteroarthritis. In addition, N-acetyl glucosamine (NAG) has been shown to be effective in reducing the appearance of hyperpigmented spots.

Dermitage’s Regenex™, contains Glucosamine, a powerful cellular exfoliator that targets and reduces the visible signs of aging. Clinical testing of Glucosamine produced significant improvements in skin appearance and integrity.

Though it has been established that collagen is a vital component of youthful skin, how effective is Dermitage Regenex in stimulating collagen production? Basically, the statistics listed above were not done using Dermitage's products, but instead, are data from independent studies using ingredients that the manufacturer of Dermitage claims are in their products. The key question here is whether there is enough glucosamine in Dermitage's product to produce similar effects.

In studies conducted by Procter & Gamble research group (J Cosmet Dermatol. 2007 Mar;6(1):20-6), they showed that glucosamine is a good skin penetrant. In an 8-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled test, glucosamine reduced the appearnace of facial hyperpigmentation. When glucosamine was combined with niacinamide, the effect on hyperpigmentation was greater. Though topical glucosime was 2% and niacinamide was 4% in concentration. A scan of the ingredients of Dermitage (see below) confirms the presence of glucosamine in their products (with the majority of the ingredients being preservatives and packing agents). Little was reported on the concentration of the active ingredient. Here, it is difficult to access the scientific support for Dermitage without the concentration of glucosamine used by the manufacturer.

Summary: Dermitage Review
Many of us are dependent upon concealers to cover the dark circles under our eyes and hyperpigmentation spots on our skin. A product that promises to eliminate or reduce that dependency is always welcoming. Though we can't say with confidence that Dermitage will offer this service, Dermitage's website does provides several "success stories" of their customers.Though the source of these reviews is biased. A search of Dermitage on Google provides little helpful information.

If you are looking for a miracle cream that will reverse the hands of time, you are out of luck. We doubt such products exist, at least ones that show permanent results. If there is a product out there that promises to permanently erase skin damage, you should not purchase it. No product can prevent the constant damage from harsh weather, harmful UV rays, and genetics. Dermitage is the same. However, if the proper concentration of glucosamine is present in Dermitage, then independent studies have shown that The Dermitage Anti-Aging System product can help restore the youthful glow you thought you had lost forever. Simply incorporate Dermitage´s patented formulas into your daily skin care regiment. It works, but it takes some time.

Tip: We suggest you take a before photo and keep it to track your results. If at the end of your trial period you still haven’t see any results, return the product.
